Michael Maltzman, a lifelong Angeleno, is the Founder and Principal of Dream Street Capital, a Los Angeles–based investment firm focused on acquiring, repositioning, and operating multifamily assets throughout Southern California. With more than a decade of hands-on experience in the Los Angeles multifamily market, Michael has built a reputation for disciplined investing, operational excellence, and creating lasting value for both residents and investors.

Michael began his career with leading commercial real estate firms including StarPoint Properties and 4-D Development before joining the Jeff Louks Team at Marcus & Millichap. There, he specialized in multifamily investment sales and participated in over $626 million in transactions, gaining intimate knowledge of market dynamics and investor strategy.

Transitioning from brokerage to ownership, Michael went on to lead acquisitions at Bold Partners, where he personally sourced and executed more than 40 value-add multifamily transactions. He managed every stage of the process—from underwriting and financing to renovations and long-term operations—solidifying his expertise as both an operator and investor.

In addition to running Dream Street Capital, Michael is also a Partner at Tower Lane Capital, an institutional-grade multifamily investment group.
